What is Prepare/Enrich?
Prepare/Enrich is the most widely used premarital and marriage assessment program in the country. It’s not a compatibility quiz. It’s a comprehensive, evidence-based inventory that gives you honest, personalized insight into the dynamics of your relationship, based entirely on your own answers.
Each partner completes the online assessment independently. It takes about 30 minutes. The results are compiled into a detailed report that your facilitator uses to guide real, productive conversations across four to eight sessions, depending on what comes up and how deep you want to go.
What makes it genuinely useful is the mirror it holds up. There’s no therapist opinion layered over the results. It reflects back what you actually said, and that tends to open doors that are hard to open any other way.

The Process
How it works

Consultation
You meet with one of our trained facilitators to discuss your relationship and confirm the program is a good fit.
Assessment
Each partner completes the online assessment independently, about 30 minutes, from wherever you are comfortable.
Debrief Sessions
Your facilitator walks you through the results across 4 to 8 sessions, guiding conversation and skill-building exercises.
Growth & Skills
You leave with a clearer picture of your relationship, practical tools, and a stronger foundation, whatever stage you’re in.
Faith Communities
Working with your church or congregation
Many churches and religious organizations refer couples to Prepare/Enrich as part of their premarital guidance process, and some require it. If your pastor or ministry has recommended the program, we can work directly with you.
Our facilitators are trained to meet couples where they are, including in contexts where faith is central. There is a Catholic-specific version of the assessment as well, covering commitment to the Church, spiritual practice, and family planning in a way that speaks directly to those values.
