Job Description:
The Anxiety & Stress Center, P.C. is a diverse, multidisciplinary group practice established in 1992. We have two immediate part-time independent contractor positions to work with couples/families and children/adolescents and their families. We are virtual now and will return to our offices in Homewood and Orland Park, IL when it is safe to do so. The ideal candidate(s) will be able to meet client availability in evenings and on weekends, is looking to join a private practice, and has a commitment to stay current with evidence-based treatments. Immediate referrals are available upon insurance paneling completion. Long-term growth with full time availability is possible.

Responsibilities:
Our therapists provide assessments, diagnoses and treatment for a wide variety of disorders such as anxiety disorders, depression, stress management, behavioral problems (i.e., ADHD, acting out), loss, family transition, gender and sexual diversity concerns, trauma/PTSD, discrimination and racial trauma, and social problems. Our client base is culturally, ethnically, and socioeconomically diverse requiring multicultural sensitivity and competence. Coordination of services with other treating professionals and consultation with ancillary others (i.e., teachers, parents, physicians) is essential.
Qualifications:
Fully licensed therapists preferred, license-eligible therapists will be considered. The couples therapist should be well versed in various systems theories and their application. The child and adolescent therapist should be well-versed in CBT (or ACT), play therapy, behavioral therapies, meditation/mindfulness and other forms of integrative therapies. Insurance panel inclusion will be considered an asset. Strong independent work skills and work ethic are necessary. Attention to administrative details and good interpersonal skills will be considered excellent assets.
